ABOUT BELLE FOURCHE
Belle Fourche, meaning “beautiful fork” in French, was founded in 1903 after decades of serving the neighboring cities’ mining and agriculture needs. It’s now known as the “gateway to the northern hills”. It is also the geographic center of the United States when considering the positions of Alaska and Hawaii.
