ABOUT HILL CITY
Hill City was founded in 1876, and incorporated in 1945. Discovered during the mining rush, it remains as the second-oldest city in the Black Hills. Other than being a tourist destination for its proximity to major state and national parks, it has also become a center of the arts in the Black Hills.
