Here it is... that PERFECT little cabin in the Hills! Tucked among the trees on a creekside lot and just a short walk to downtown Hill City, this charming 1946 home is one of those places that instantly feels like a Black Hills getaway. Mature trees, a big grassy yard, a little path leading down to the creek and plenty of room to enjoy being outside. It’s private enough to feel like you’re getting away from it all, yet close enough to walk to town. Inside, the character of the original cabin has been kept while adding the things that make it a really fun place to be. Two bedrooms, one bath, barn doors, a woodburning stove and plenty of cozy cabin charm. Outside is where this place really shines... a large deck for BBQs and gathering, a fire pit for cool Hills evenings and a hot tub that might just be the best seat in the house. Why? Because you can sit in the hot tub and WATCH THE 1880 TRAIN ROLL BY! From spring through fall, the train makes its way through Hill City and right into the story of this little cabin. The one-stall garage gives you room for your vehicle, toys or all the things that come with enjoying the Black Hills. And there’s plenty of wildlife to enjoy, too. Deer regularly wander through the property and can often be spotted right outside while you’re having your morning coffee. Whether you’re looking for a full-time home, a weekend escape or a property with vacation-rental potential, this one has the location, the setting and the personality.
